A few days ago, Lost Monongahela posted about an 1895 bicycle race that attracted 3000 spectators to the “Race Track” (or at that time, the “Driving Park”) on Park Avenue. I just wanted to let you know of another local bicycle race coming in May 2023 called the Whiskey Rebellion Gravel Race. For 2023 it will be held 40 minutes from Monongahela in Clarksville, PA, just west of Washington, PA, off of Interstate 70.
